Sweet merciful crap, this is the new Offspring video

For the record, I have always thought the Offspring sucked, even when I was a naive, impressionable 7th grader. My best friend Cameron was all, “SMASH is the best album EVER. These guys are waay more punk than Green Day.” I rushed over to the Sam Goody in the Vintage Faire Mall (Modesto, dudes) and bought it. I listened to the whole thing and immediately thought, “I hate this.”

It was the first time I disagreed with MTV and it was hard. I’m pretty sure it even put a strain on our friendship. I kept listening thinking it would grow on me. You know, like Pinkerton. Never did. I’m glad that 15 years later their complete and utter shitiness has come to full fruition.
